Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the ELF Foundation website. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, programs, events, registration forms, online learning activities, payment services, and related communications.

By using our website, registering for a program, making a payment, submitting information, attending an event, or participating in an ELF Foundation activity, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About ELF Foundation

ELF Foundation provides educational, leadership, technology, youth development, community empowerment, and related programs. Our programs may include workshops, incubators, mentorship sessions, online training, in-person events, certificate programs, and community initiatives.

2. Eligibility

Some ELF Foundation programs are designed for specific age groups, locations, or participant categories.

For youth programs, including Teens Tech Incubator programs, participants under 18 must have parent or guardian consent to register and participate.

ELF Foundation reserves the right to verify eligibility and refuse or cancel registration where incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information is provided.

3. Program Registration

To register for an ELF Foundation program, you may be required to provide accurate participant, parent/guardian, contact, payment, and program selection information.

Registration is not complete until all required forms are submitted and applicable payment is received or confirmed.

ELF Foundation may close registration when capacity is reached.

4. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

For participants under 18, the parent or guardian is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information
  • Giving consent for participation
  • Ensuring the participant attends sessions on time
  • Monitoring online participation where appropriate
  • Ensuring the participant behaves respectfully
  • Reviewing program requirements, schedules, and communications
  • Notifying ELF Foundation of any concerns, special needs, or emergency issues

5. Program Schedule and Changes

ELF Foundation will make reasonable efforts to deliver programs according to the published schedule. However, program dates, times, instructors, topics, delivery format, location, or platform may change due to operational, technical, safety, weather, instructor availability, low enrollment, or other reasons.

If significant changes occur, ELF Foundation will communicate updates through the contact information provided during registration.

6. Online Program Requirements

Participants in online programs may need access to:

  • A reliable internet connection
  • A computer, tablet, or suitable device
  • Email access
  • Google Meet or other approved meeting platforms
  • Google Workspace, learning materials, or assigned tools
  • A quiet and safe learning environment

ELF Foundation is not responsible for participant-side internet issues, device problems, missed sessions due to personal technical issues, or inability to access required tools unless caused directly by ELF Foundation.

7. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during all ELF Foundation programs and events.

Participants must not:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse others
  • Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
  • Disrupt classes, meetings, events, or group activities
  • Record or share sessions without permission
  • Misuse login details, program links, or learning materials
  • Plagiarize, cheat, or submit work that is not their own
  • Violate safety rules, platform rules, or instructor directions

ELF Foundation may remove a participant from a program or event for misconduct, safety concerns, repeated disruption, non-compliance, or violation of these Terms.

8. Certificates

Certificates may be issued to participants who meet the required attendance, participation, conduct, assignment, assessment, or completion requirements for a program.

Payment or registration alone does not guarantee a certificate.

ELF Foundation reserves the right to withhold certificates where requirements are not met.

9. Payments

Program fees, donations, event fees, merchandise fees, or other charges must be paid according to the instructions provided at registration or checkout.

All prices are listed in the currency stated on the relevant program page, flyer, invoice, or payment form.

ELF Foundation may use third-party payment processors. Users are responsible for any bank fees, card fees, currency conversion charges, or transaction fees imposed by third parties.

10. Refunds

Refunds are governed by ELF Foundation’s Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

By making a payment, you agree to the applicable refund rules stated on the website, registration form, invoice, or program page.

11. Donations

Donations made to ELF Foundation are generally voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law or unless a clear processing error has occurred.

Donation receipts may be issued where applicable.

ELF Foundation does not guarantee that donations are tax-deductible in every jurisdiction. Donors should consult their tax adviser.

12. Media Release

By attending or participating in ELF Foundation events or programs, participants may appear in photos, videos, recordings, screenshots, or written reports.

For minors, ELF Foundation will seek parent or guardian consent before using identifiable media publicly for marketing, publicity, or promotional purposes.

Where consent has been provided, ELF Foundation may use approved media in websites, social media, flyers, reports, newsletters, presentations, donor updates, and promotional materials.

13. Intellectual Property

All ELF Foundation website content, logos, program materials, training resources, slides, documents, videos, graphics, designs, curriculum materials, and written content are owned by or licensed to ELF Foundation unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, modify, publish, or use ELF Foundation materials for commercial purposes without written permission.

Participants may use program materials only for personal learning and program participation.

14. Participant Work and Projects

Participants may create assignments, projects, presentations, designs, code, written work, or other outputs during ELF Foundation programs.

Participants generally retain ownership of their original work. However, by submitting work during a program, participants and parents/guardians grant ELF Foundation permission to review, display, evaluate, and, with appropriate consent, showcase the work for educational, reporting, promotional, or program-related purposes.

16. Third-Party Links and Platforms

ELF Foundation may link to or use third-party websites, payment processors, video platforms, learning tools, or communication services.

ELF Foundation is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy policies, terms, fees, security, or actions of third-party platforms.

17. Health, Safety, and Emergency Matters

For in-person events, participants must follow all venue rules, safety instructions, and staff guidance.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact information and notifying ELF Foundation of any relevant medical, accessibility, or safety concerns.

ELF Foundation may take reasonable action in an emergency to protect a participant’s safety.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ELF Foundation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, program participation, event attendance, technical issues, schedule changes, missed sessions, third-party platforms, or inability to access services.

ELF Foundation’s total liability for any claim related to a paid program will not exceed the amount paid for that specific program, unless otherwise required by law.

19. No Guarantee of Outcomes

ELF Foundation works to provide high-quality educational and youth development programs. However, we do not guarantee specific academic, career, immigration, employment, business, scholarship, admission, or financial outcomes from participation.

20. Suspension or Termination

ELF Foundation may suspend or terminate access to its website, programs, events, or services if a user violates these Terms, engages in misconduct, provides false information, fails to pay required fees, or creates safety, legal, reputational, or operational risks.

21. Force Majeure
