Refund Policy

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how ELF Foundation handles refunds for program fees, workshops, events, donations, merchandise, and other payments.

By registering for an ELF Foundation program or making a payment, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Policy

ELF Foundation uses program fees and payments to reserve participant spaces, instructors, materials, platforms, venues, administrative support, certificates, and related program resources.

Because these costs may be committed before a program begins, refunds are limited and subject to the rules below.

2. Program Registration Fees

Unless otherwise stated on a specific program page, invoice, flyer, or registration form, the following refund schedule applies to paid ELF Foundation programs:

A. Refund Requests Made 14 or More Days Before Program Start

Refund requests made at least 14 calendar days before the program start date may be eligible for a refund, minus any non-refundable processing fees, transaction fees, administrative fees, or materials already purchased.

B. Refund Requests Made 7–13 Days Before Program Start

Refund requests made 7 to 13 calendar days before the program start date may be eligible for a partial refund or program credit, at ELF Foundation’s discretion.

C. Refund Requests Made Less Than 7 Days Before Program Start

Refund requests made less than 7 calendar days before the program start date are generally not eligible for a refund.

ELF Foundation may, at its discretion, offer a transfer to another batch, future program credit, or partial credit where possible.

D. No Refund After Program Begins

Once a program has started, fees are generally non-refundable.

This includes missed sessions, late attendance, voluntary withdrawal, scheduling conflicts, participant-side internet problems, device issues, or failure to complete assignments.

3. Transfers and Program Credits

Instead of a refund, ELF Foundation may allow a participant to:

  • Transfer to another available batch
  • Transfer to another eligible participant
  • Receive credit toward a future ELF Foundation program
  • Move from in-person to online participation, if available

Transfers and credits are subject to availability and must be approved by ELF Foundation.

Program credits may expire after [Insert Credit Validity Period, e.g., 6 months or 12 months] unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellations by ELF Foundation

If ELF Foundation cancels a paid program and does not offer a suitable replacement, transfer, or rescheduled date, participants may be eligible for a refund of the program fee paid.

ELF Foundation is not responsible for personal expenses incurred by participants or families, including travel, accommodation, meals, transportation, internet, device purchases, childcare, or missed work.

5. Schedule Changes

If ELF Foundation changes a program schedule, instructor, platform, location, or delivery format, we will make reasonable efforts to notify participants.

A schedule change does not automatically qualify for a refund if ELF Foundation provides a reasonable alternative, rescheduled session, online option, makeup session, or program credit.

6. Participant Removal or Misconduct

No refund will be issued if a participant is removed from a program due to:

  • Misconduct
  • Bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior
  • Violation of program rules
  • Sharing inappropriate content
  • Safety concerns
  • Unauthorized recording or sharing of program materials
  • Violation of ELF Foundation’s Terms and Conditions

7. Missed Sessions

ELF Foundation does not provide refunds for missed sessions, late arrivals, early departures, incomplete assignments, or failure to attend.

Where possible, ELF Foundation may provide makeup materials, recordings, or alternative support, but this is not guaranteed.

8. Donations

Donations to ELF Foundation are generally non-refundable.

A donation refund may be considered only if:

  • The donation was made by mistake
  • There was a duplicate transaction
  • There was a technical or payment processing error
  • A refund is required by law

Donation refund requests should be made as soon as possible after the transaction.

9. Merchandise and Souvenirs

Refunds for merchandise, souvenirs, branded items, or physical materials are only available if the item is defective, unavailable, or not delivered due to ELF Foundation’s error.

Customized, personalized, worn, used, or distributed items are generally non-refundable.

Shipping, delivery, and handling fees may be non-refundable.

10. Payment Processing Fees

Payment processors, banks, or card providers may charge transaction fees. These fees may be non-refundable.

If a refund is approved, ELF Foundation may deduct payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, administrative fees, or other non-recoverable costs from the refund amount.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact ELF Foundation so we can review and resolve the issue.

Unauthorized chargebacks may delay future registration, access to programs, or issuance of certificates while the dispute is reviewed.
